Comments

The fog and low cloud of yesterday marked the Antarctic Convergence where warmer Northern waters met the colder Southern Waters. In the last 24 hrs the water temperature has dropped 4deg!! In anticipation of encountering icebergs in the next few days we are now slowing down slightly during the hours of darkness. We awoke this morning to a beautiful sunny day with no whitecaps and a low and regular swell. Black Browed and Grey Headed Albatross are swooping around us in between numerous prions that are darting around the ship's bow. Cetaceans are remaining elusive but we are keeping a keen eye out!! Yours Aye Robb and Simon
