Work continues at process station 3. The Diel study began at midnight last night, and data will be collected every 6 hours through to midnight tonight. Dominique stole the 100th CTD of the voyage last night with a last minute addition to the schedule. In addition, the NIWA, snatchers, grabbers, and assorted buckets were deployed. The afternoon awards tea ceremony was well attended with the scones and tea disappearing quickly. It is now a lovely sunny afternoon at process station 3 with the feel of a resort spa hanging over our sparkling clean ship. (particularly the bridge windows) We plan to finish the diel study tonight, and pick up the drifting traps in the morning before heading off to station 23. Regards Vicky & Karin
