Comments

Completed station 10 early this morning. We deployed 3 CTD's (400m, 1000m and 2500m), the NIWA rosette, the McLean pumps and then did a dip with the RMT as we left the station. We also deployed the optical instruments, snatchers and plankton nets. Cruised to station 11 this morning where we had a single 1000m cast and deployed the cataxe and FRRF. The minicosm was also sampled this morning. Water processing now keeping most busy. We are now heading for station 12 and expect to arrive there early afternoon. Mexican party last night saw several women discussing their plastic surgeons and a rowdy crowd beating a paper covered object. The CTD sling was a featured drink. Regards Vicky & Karin
