Refuelling is now complete having taken around twenty hours. The packing up of the line is now in progress. The refuelling supervisor, the boat crews and the pumping monitors all did an excellent job to deliver all the required fuel safely and efficiently. Observers in the small hours could see the zodiac inflatables slowly patrolling the fuel line as light snow fell on the calm waters of Newcomb Bay. There was relatively little floating ice to be fended away from the line so boredom and cold were probably the greatest enemies. Cargo operations continue and the crane is now reaching deep into the lower hold of the ship for successive loads. The weather remains good and forecast to stay that way.
