Some of us are now noticing the dropping temperature more than others, thanks to an absence of cranial insulation. The hair, beards and even eyebrows of a number of expeditioners and crew hit the deck in the name of the Camp Quality cancer charity last night. The bidding and the laughter just kept coming and a healthy sum was pledged. In other news, only the dedicated few remain in the game of assassin. These individuals are identifiable by their swarm of paid bodyguards and constant glances over the shoulder as they move about the ship. Like a paranoid despot they trust no one and avoid any form of routine. This morning found us in a calmer region between two lows and we continue to make good progress. We seem to alternate between sunny conditions and snow showers.
