Comments

Quite a few albatross around the ship today. At least one wandering and one sooty. Many people took advantage of the sunny conditions and slighter seas this morning to get on the upper decks and do some photography. The world series hacky sack game continued on the helideck for a while. The seas have risen in the afternoon slowing our progress by a few knots and slowing down activity around the ship. We are starting to look at the satellite ice imagery to note trends in the ice around Davis. Field training starts tomorrow.
