Comments
Finally we’re underway! We headed down the Derwent yesterday evening leaving a hazy Hobart behind us. We have had a gentle introduction to the Southern Ocean overnight and there was a big turnout to breakfast this morning. One whale sighting from the bridge and the ship’s OH&S meeting were the highlights of an otherwise quiet day as people gain their sea legs. The wind and sea are increasing as we approach a frontal system.
