Comments

Weather closed in yesterday to almost blizz conditions, so we made no progress last night, and were content to "go with the floe"... Conditions excellent this morning and have just completed first ice recce flight, which confirmed open leads to our south, trending SE, but it's quite a jigsaw puzzle out there. We have some new waypoints to aim for and will continue south-ish. King Neptune and his briney crew turned up yesterday and welcomed our first timers to his ocean realm south of 60 degrees. His inability to recognise the Voyage Leader as someone who has been before is a bit of a concern though... REGARDS Doug and Nicki
