Comments

Another fine day in the Southern Ocean. More field training scheduled for this afternoon, otherwise a day in transit. Sea temperature has warmed again, depressing all those folk who booked an early slot in the "First Iceberg" sweepstakes. At this rate, we're anticipating reaching the ice edge north of Casey late Saturday - early Sunday. The satellite images we're receiving onboard suggest the ice edge is about 300 nautical miles north of the continent, and fairly solid in places. REGARDS Doug and Nicki
