Comments
We crossed the Antarctic Polar Front yesterday (also known as the Antarctic Convergence), with a quite dramatic drop in ocean temperature, from about 3.5 to -1.25 degrees C, which also produced foggy conditions. The seas have been pretty kind to us really, with only the occasional "pot-hole"... Nothing too dramatic, but enough to slow us down a bit. Field training continues this afternoon, and an onboard game of "Murder on the Aurora Express" commences. This may be our last transmission... :-) REGARDS Doug and Nicki
