Comments

Slowed down overnight as a result of heavier than expected ice conditions. At just after 1100 this morning the last trawl came aboard at the bottom of Transect 11. The BROKE West survey is now officially over having completed everything we set out to do and more. Wild scenes of unfettered jubilation throughout the ship as we head for Davis, with King Neptune visiting this afternoon to raise the atmosphere to fever pitch. A million thanks to everyone aboard for making the impossible feasible - and enjoyable. Have we been good enough to come home now? REGARDS Steve and Ruth
