Comments
All passengers and their cargo aboard by 1530 local time yesterday, in balmy conditions: 6 degrees and occasional rain! Departed Casey at 1700, just as the stronger wind gusts started to kick in. We've made slow progress overnight in heavy ice conditions, encountering some rafting and pressure ridges in the vicinity of a very large tabular iceberg. Currently trying to find a way around the berg to the west. Christmas decorations up, fairy lights blinking. REGARDS Doug & Rob
