Comments

Continued loading RTA cargo until 1500LT yesterday when operations ceased due to strong winds and blowing snow. Flight planned to Mawson cancelled due to rapidly declining weather conditions. Forecast for next three days is not favourable for flying to Mawson but change late Sunday through to Monday and Tuesday looking more promising. Refuelling completed late yesterday in very difficult weather conditions with 630,000 litres SAB transferred to station fuel tanks. Station changeover conducted late yesterday in a very poignant and moving ceremony and John Rich has formally taken over as Station Leader. REGARDS Richard and Jenny
