Comments
A bit lumpy today but all is well. The early hours of 2005 brought 55 knot winds and steep, 7-8 metre, seas (welcome to the New Year!). As a result Vasiliy's velocity dropped somewhat but she rode the briney very well with a fair bit of moderate pitching (good for pictures!) but no rolling to speak of. Wind and seas are slowly slowly abating today and a better 24 hours is on the cards for tommorrow. Almost everyone is well and enjoying the ride! Will have a fresh look at ETA Casey outer ice edge once we get through the current undulations. REGARDS Martin and Steve
