Comments
We left Davis in beautiful conditions and had a fine evening in open pack with lots of penguins, seals and whales. Our progress overnight was slowed by some very heavy close pack, but we are now free of the ice. We deployed the second ARP whale listening station this morning and are now krill fishing at the ice edge before heading to Hobart. REGARDS Steve, Mark and Peter
