We continued CTD stations until about midnight last night, when we were stopped from further progress towards the south along 80E by a wide band of very heavy ice. We are now skirting the ice edge to the southwest, looking for a passage through to the south, and hoping to complete the last CTD stations across the continental slope. REGARDS Steve, Mark and Peter
