Comments

Since last sitrep, we have been steaming slowly to the weather, waiting for a gale to blow through. Given the good run we had had with weather to date, some delay is not unexpected. Winds exceeded 40 knots for about 8 hours, building a rough sea on a 6-8 m swell. The winds slowly eased over the following 12 hours and we are now steaming slowly to the next CTD site, hoping to resume work sometime this afternoon or evening (before the next one catches up with us). REGARDS Steve, Mark and Peter
