Comments

Started cargo at Spit Bay at 0630 yesterday morning. The one serviceable LARC struck a rock on the first landing and became unserviceable. This left us with no LARCs however after a great job by the engineers on the ship we had one back in operation by 10am and cargo operations continued. The second LARC was repaired and in the water by 1500 and despite windy conditions operations were completed at Brown Camp. 5 LARC loads remain at Spit Bay for collection in the next few days. The zodiacs were unable to exit Stephenson Lagoon due to ice conditions however they were rolled over the lagoon spit and taken onboard the ship by 1830. Overall a very good day's operations with much achieved despite a few challenges. This morning we are off Capsize Beach and commencing cargo operations with one LARC. We may return to Spit Bay this afternoon if the weather returns SW to retrieve the final loads from there. Regards Robb and the team
