Capsize and Doppler landings completed by 1700 yesterday after a fantastic effort from the crew and expeditioners. Camps were established and in good spirits by the 2000 sched. We were off the Spit Bay camp at 0500 this morning in light winds however the swell was too large for cargo operations. Steamed to Atlas Cove and now putting a camp into Jacka Valley. Zodiacs currently ashore and LARCS loading. Intend installing Terrestrial Ecology AWS on Mt Aubert De La Rue after Jacka is complete. Then we will depot BoM AWS and Geoscience Australia gear at Atlas Cove for later installation. Intend installing BoM AWS on V6. Rubbish retrieval from Atlas Cove will also be done today. Will try for Spit Bay again in the morning in the hope the more Westerly system will reduce the swell. REGARDS Robb and the team.
