Comments

Moved north of Peterson Bank and a heavy band of ice extending westward from the tip of the bank. Now waiting at 65 mile distance for Casey changeover and inductions to be completed. Remaining RTA personnel will be flown onboard when work complete. A beautiful day, and we are using the opportunity to complete another ice station and sea ice aerial photography. The sea ice experimental grid, originally deployed over 300 km east, has now drifted to within 45 km of our present location REGARDS Ian and Vicky
