Comments

Still at Ice Station 4. Wind eased overnight and blowing snow ceased. Vast floes have mostly broken into 50 m size pieces although 3 x 500 m transects were still intact. Rescued AWS buoy from encapsulation in newly forming ridge. Now completing the few outstanding measurements on the profile line before moving east to next station. An evening of head shaving last night raised more than $5000 for Camp Quality. REGARDS Ian and Vicky
