Comments
Did not find SAZ F mooring on surface yesterday before dark. Suspect it was not released. Resumed grid pattern acoustic search for mooring at first light with rapidly increasing wind speed and sea state. Search abandoned at 1240 and headed towards ice edge. About 1330 a heavy wave stove in two window frames on D deck and flooded cabins D18 and D19. No injuries and only minor equipment damage. Windows openings now sealed, passengers re-accommodated, and all well.
REGARDS Ian and Vicky
