Comments

Thursday: Helicopter operations began 0830 with transfer of 18 winterers and priority pax for station changeover and all personal baggage; all remaining priority # 1 cargo and 39 x 200lt drums of ATK for PCMEGA ashore by shut down at 1915 – many thanks for another superb effort by pilots Ward and John, and helipad crews at both ship and shore. In evening, ship moved to another lead identified by pilots and Master from the air; now 29 miles from Mawson.
Friday: as forecast, weather closed in overnight, now gradually clearing but not yet suitable for flying. REGARDS Louise and Jane
