Comments
At Macquarie Island, anchored in Buckles Bay. Swell made getting cargo out of the hold a challenge for the crew, but they have done a fantastic job. All cargo ops completed by 1000 using both aircraft (including RTA 25 empty cage pallets and 3 RTA pallets). Early completion has allowed us to embark on down island hut work, which will really help the locals out for summer. Anticipate departing for SAZ-C mooring by 1400 (607 nm away). Flew 1.6 hours heli-time yesterday, and transferred all Macca personnel, their luggage, and the mail ashore late in the day. REGARDS Dug
