This morning resumed movement at 0458hrs in very heavy ice. Flew ice recon at 0635hrs. Vessel halted at 1021hrs in dense ice awaiting more favourable combination of tides and wind before commencing icebreaking again. Yesterday vessel resumed movement at 1730hrs as weather moderated, halted again at 2210hrs when heavy snow set in, reducing visibility - having only travelled 2nm Last night was a 'semi formal dinner night' followed by sports action video.
