Departed Davis Anchorage at 0518, left fast ice at 0627. Now back on schedule. Yesterday: All expeditioners ashore by 1030. Poor weather conditions precluded flying to undertake SAS engineer visit to Zhong Shan. Local station area flying tasks all completed. Very successful barbecue held in Green Shed at 1830 for all expeditioners and off-duty crew from KK. REGARDS J&L
