Very successful 'Crossing the Line' ceremony yesterday, with subsequent party in the evening, attended by the Captain and Officers. Currently steaming in circles awaiting cloud to lift sufficiently to undertake air recon. At present both surface and horizon definition not conducive to flying. Once recon conducted, intend to steam down as close to 63rd meridian as possible to suitable fly-off point. Currently anticipate being in position early Thursday, weather permitting.
