Yesterday's extremes of weather (12m+ seas and 70+kt winds saw us make little progress. Some cargo shifted and is now being restacked as well as possible (too dangerous yesterday) No hot meals yesterday as galley staff at risk of burns and scalds in heavy seas. On the positive side, morale is still high although several people are seriously seasick. Helicopters are travelling well. Have resumed a course for Mawson. REGARDS J&L
