Cargo operations were finally completed by around1800 local with all Davis RTA backloaded. Aerial photography work at the station was completed but weather conditions did not permit glacier work. Despite a number of valiant attempts, several of which had to be called off because unsuitable sea conditions, the station tide gauge was located, but not recovered. This work will now be undertaken by the winter party. Currently underway for Mawson and subject to favourable weather conditions, permitting a speed of 12 knots, the Master estimates arrival in Kista strait around 1800 tomorrow.
