Comments

Moved 6 pax from PB to AA yesterday, backloading with drums of oil. Priority for pax movement is Mawson winterers first in case we have to pull out. Attempting to bring the 2 Davis helicopters into play as well. Davis, PolarB and AA on continuous appraisal of weather, looking for opportunities for flying. Relocated 1 helicopter from PB to AA. Ice recce 0600 today from AA. Checked escape route back to the north. Very little evidence of pack movement. Currently manoeuvring to put us another 10nm closer to PolarB. Intending to fly remaining pax as weather allows, and break PolarB out, before heading for Mawson.
