Australia’s icebreaker Aurora Australis has recently returned from a six week voyage to Antarctica, including a resupply of Davis and Mawson stations.

Heavy ice at Mawson prevented the ship from breaking its way into Horseshoe Harbour, instead three helicopters were used to transfer expeditioners and cargo ashore.
