The Australian Government Antarctic Division is offering a wide range of working opportunities for highly competent men and women at its stations in Antarctica and on MacquarieIsland for 2008.

We are looking for:

  • Station Leaders
  • Doctors
  • Chefs
  • Trades people (building supervisors, engineering supervisors, electricians, instrument electricians, carpenters, mechanics, plumbers, plant inspectors, plant operators)
  • Telecommunications (supervisors, technical officers, operators)

These positions are required to support Australia's science programme in Antarctica and are important in the smooth operation of our stations – Casey, Davis, Mawson and Macquarie Island.

Antarctica is a challenging environment but the rewards are second to none. If you think you have what we need, let's hear from you.
