Gillard Government support for conservation of Mawson’s HutsPrime Minister Julia Gillard and Heritage Minister Tony Burke today announced funding for the conservation of the birthplace of Australia’s modern Antarctic program, Mawson’s Huts at Cape Denison, Commonwealth Bay, Antarctica.
