The skills you need to drive on snow and ice are very different to those you need back home.

You may have some vehicle training before you leave and some will take place once you arrive on station.

You will need to undergo sufficient training before you can use vehicles and operate plant and equipment. Each vehicle has specific training requirements, which will require a time commitment from you once you reach the station. Be sure to schedule the time to satisfy these requirements into your program.

If you plan to use miscellaneous equipment such as ice drills and generator sets, the plant inspectors (PI) on each station will assist you with any necessary training.
