This week was exceptionally busy as the Aurora Australis was in town bringing with her over 70 personnel and a year’s supply of cargo — 825,000 litres of fuel was transferred for the station from the ship.
Everything went according to plan and the handover on Wednesday went smoothly with the 2014 winter team handing over to new station leader James and the 2014/15 personnel.
We, the 2014 team, wish everyone remaining on station a successful and memorable season. Some of us may see you next year.
