Reviving Buildings

At Davis, before winter, the trades team put some of the buildings into winter mode, mostly to save energy costs. While the buildings are shut down to a certain degree, the temperatures are kept above freezing to prevent pipes freezing up. Summer accommodation and science buildings are the main ones, the heli hut is also closed down to a certain degree. I think Jenn secretly keeps a heater running in the heli hut so she has somewhere to escape and put some paints to canvas without interruption.
Well, it has reached the time of the year to bring these buildings back to life in readiness for the influx of summer personnel. Cookie has been dishing out some exciting Saturday duties lately to get rooms ready. Cliff and Dave have been using the EWP (elevated work platform) to remove covers and plugs on the flues and vents. Boj and Hoops are busy adjusting building temperatures back to normal and removing covers from vents etc.
