Davis Station, Antarctica 68º35'S 77º58'E
This week it is 'Welcome Back' to our traverse expeditioners. In their week away they experienced some really cold temperatures and had major mechanical problems to deal with. They returned Monday morning to the relief of us all, and reckon they have ticked that box...
Despite the 'Closed' sign back on station we were all really pleased to see them back, especially Kim our chef... although that goes without saying!
The following shots were taken during their trip by Nick Roden, the only one whose camera would work for more than one shot.
