Wills

You may wish to have a will prepared before departure. This ensures, if the need arises, that your personal estate will be distributed in accordance with your wishes and not as the law demands where no will is made.

If you need advice on the preparation of a will, you should consult a solicitor or a public trust office. There is no charge made by the Tasmanian Public Trust Office for the preparation of a will; however, they insist on being executors.
