Why should you read this handbook?
As an expeditioner you are expected to read the Expeditioner Handbook to ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of your employment with the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD).
Ensure that you read carefully the complete version of the Antarctic Service Code of Personal Behaviour as it outlines your personal responsibilities with regard to the station community and to the AAD.
Your participation in Australia's Antarctic Program (AAP) is conditional upon you signing the Conditions for Participation in the Australian Antarctic Program.
It is also suggested that AAD-employed expeditioners familiarise themselves with the current Australian Antarctic Division's Enterprise Agreement.
