Training venues

Where practical, as much training as possible is held locally at Kingston.

All general induction and predeparture training sessions are held at the AAD Head Office.

So too are a number of other courses such as the introduction to field training, some vehicle skills, including quad bike riding, front end loader handling and forklift truck qualifications. Safety at heights tuition for telecommunications personnel is also generally held here.

Specialised courses such as advanced fire fighting, nursing assistance and hydroponics training may be held at various locations across Hobart or further afield. You will be notified of times and venues as appropriate.
