Effective waste management practices are required when out in field. In most cases, bring it all back! Sort waste properly while still out in the field:

  • keep solid human waste separate from the rest
  • keep food scraps separate from glass and cans
  • for disposal of urine and grey water, check with your station leader for the current station management policy

Secure all your equipment to prevent it being blown away in high winds.
