This shot shows the way a penguin tucks its wings into the sides and dives deep.The fish sits on the ocean floor surrounded by colourful anemones.
Advances in photographic technology measn we can now capture increasingly detailed – and amazing – images of life below the surface of the water.

These underwater images from Image Antarctica were taken during the flimng of an IMAX program in 1989-1990 and during the Collaborative East Antarctic Marine Census (CEAMARC) of Voyage 3, Aurora Australis.
