Tina Evans 09/10
Tina Evans is an emerging director, producer, choreographer and performer with experience creating live multi-art collaborative productions. Evans trained in dance in Adelaide and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and has worked and performed in Australia, Austria and the UK.
Evans collected material during her round trip on the Aurora Australis, visiting Davis and Mawson stations. From this, she will create an installation focused on ice and the impact of global warming for the 2011 Melbourne Fringe Festival at Federation Square. The work will include dance, sculpture, film, photography and soundscapes.

In 2011, Tina participated in the conference honouring 100 years of Australian history on the continent, 'Antarctica: Music, Sound and Cultural Connections', which took place at the Australian National University in Canberra, June 27-29.
Tina will also present her full-scale Antarctic work at the Melbourne Fringe Festival from October 5th-8th at Federation Square in Melbourne.
